Here are 5 important steps to follow:
Take a moment
Breathe and don’t panic. Chances are the Termites have been quietly there for a while and they won’t do much damage in the next day or two. However, once disturbed its best to have them looked at quickly to increase the chances of a successful initial treatment.
Do NOT spray them!
Household Insect sprays will negatively affect how Termites can be treated. It is important to spray nothing on them. We can be to you same day or next day so you will not have to wait long.
Do not disturb them
Try to minimise the disturbance to the Termites. You may have disturbed them a little bit, that’s ok. But now is not the time to assess the extent of damage by yourself.
Cover the area
Cover the area with a piece of cardboard or heavy paper and tape – this will minimise disturbance to the Termites and make treating them later much more effective.
